"The freezing phenomenon on Phia Oac peak has just appeared, however the ice has not appeared much yet" - said a representative of Thanh Cong Commune People's Committee.

Phia Oac peak area (about 1,931 m above sea level), belongs to Phia Oac - Phia Den National Park (Thanh Cong commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province).
A few years ago, cold air swept through here, the temperature dropped to about -2 to -5 degrees Celsius, and ice and snow appeared.
