It does not affect biodiversity.

According to the recently issued plan, the principle for constructing facilities serving ecotourism, resorts, and entertainment in forests is to strictly comply with the regulations in Article 15 of Government Decree No. 156.

Furthermore, construction projects for ecotourism, resorts, and entertainment must ensure that they do not negatively impact the biodiversity and natural landscape of the forest.

For the strictly protected zone of Hon Ba Nature Reserve, only trails, aerial and underground cableways, landscape observation stations, shelters, and signs indicating forest protection combined with ecotourism are permitted.

Within the ecological restoration zone of Hon Ba Nature Reserve, only suitable roads, not exceeding the scale of a Class IV mountain road, landscape observation stations, shelters, signposts, overhead cables, underground cables, and pedestrian bridges in the mangrove forest area are permitted.

Within the administrative service zone of the nature reserve, the species and habitat conservation area may construct facilities to serve ecotourism, recreation, and the promotion of historical and cultural relics and scenic spots; without affecting national defense, security, scenic spots, and historical and cultural relics.

According to the recently approved plan, the Hon Ba Nature Reserve Management Board will independently organize, cooperate with, or lease forest areas to organizations and individuals for ecotourism, resort, and recreational activities in accordance with regulations.
