Hot air balloon rides are part of the November wild sunflower festival themed "Autumn at Tan Vien Mountain," with tickets priced at 300,000 VND per person. If visitors choose not to ride but only want to take photos inside the giant hot air balloons, an additional fee of 30,000 VND will apply. This is in addition to the standard entrance fee; visitors will be charged an extra 60,000 VND per adult, 30,000 VND for priority groups (over 60 years old, disabled, students), and free for children under 1.2 meters tall.

Previously, hot air balloon flights had been successfully organized in central Vietnam.
Besides hot air balloons, the festival also offers many other exciting activities: flower-viewing walks, camping, enjoying traditional Vietnamese chrysanthemum tea and wine, and attending music nights. For camping, you can bring your own tent/tarpaulin or rent one at Ba Vi National Park for 120,000 - 200,000 VND/tent, 30,000 VND/tarpaulin.
If you don't like crowded events, you can stop anywhere along the 12-kilometer flower-lined road to take photos.
Overnight camping on the summit of Ba Vi Mountain has become quite popular recently. If you don't rent a tent, you don't have to pay any other fees besides a 10,000 VND sanitation fee per person.
The festival runs until November 15th, which is also the time when the wild sunflowers are at their most beautiful. The highest number of tourists are expected to visit Ba Vi next weekend to "fly over Tan Mountain" and admire the more than 10km long flower-lined road.
