The first nine months of 2020 brought about significant global upheaval due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With the pandemic still raging and bringing about powerful waves of social change globally, many businesses, organizations, and individuals believe that in the remaining months of 2020, they still have time to make history.
With the aim of showcasing the beauty of the landscapes, history, culture, and people of destinations in southern Quang Nam through an artistic perspective, along with fundraising activities for underprivileged children in Vietnam, TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An is launching the "Art Week for Smiles" program, in collaboration with Travellive, VTV1, Operation Smile, and many other organizations.

A series of art creation activities and art exhibitions will be held from November 5th to 10th, 2020 at TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An – the first international resort located on Tam Tien beach, Quang Nam, belonging to the German-based travel group TUI. All proceeds from the program will be donated to Operation Smile, aiming to bring brighter futures to children in need of cleft lip and palate surgery.
“This is a highly meaningful project aimed at restarting economic activities and promoting tourism in the Quang Nam region, which has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and has strongly affected the lives of businesses and people,” shared Mr. Nguyen Viet Phuong, Head Representative of Operation Smile in Vietnam.
TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An is located on the tranquil Tam Tien beach.
The paintings created by the artists throughout the journey will be selected and kept for an art auction held at the year-end party at TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An on December 31, 2020.
“The group of artists participating in this field trip consists of 10 artists and 1 journalist. They include artists of all generations, from senior artists (78 years old) to young artists (30 years old). Most of them are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, some work in management at major national publishing houses, and many have participated in numerous domestic and international exhibitions and won many awards,” said artist Ngo Thanh Nhan, representing the group of artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association participating in this project.

During the art week event, TUI BLUE Nam Hoi An will provide free admission for visitors to explore, enjoy the art, and interact with the artists.
