This unique swimming pool connects two luxurious buildings in the Nine Elms neighborhood. Measuring 25 meters in length and reaching a depth of 3 meters, the glass pool, holding over 400 tons of water, is located on the 10th floor of the building, approximately 35 meters above ground level.

This swimming pool was constructed in Colorado and transported over 8,000 km to London, where it was installed in the upscale Embassy Gardens apartment complex, right next to the billion-dollar US embassy. The entire walls and bottom of the pool are made of 20 cm thick transparent glass, allowing swimmers to enjoy panoramic views of London from above.

Although it may look fragile, the structure has been meticulously designed to withstand the weight of water, the pressure of wind at high altitudes, and even the vibrations of the building in exceptional circumstances.
The idea for this unique swimming pool originated in 2013. Posting on The Embassy Gardens' official website, Sean Mulryan, director of the Barrymore development company, stated: “It was a bold idea. At the time, we didn’t think it was feasible. Thanks to advancements in technology, we were able to turn this idea into reality.”
To date, upon its opening, this is the world's first swimming pool suspended in mid-air.

"Guests can glide between the two buildings at a height of 35 meters. We wanted to give customers a swimming experience that feels like flying," shared Brian Eckersley, the engineer who constructed the rooftop swimming pool.

Besides the swimming pool, the top floor of the building also houses a bar and a spa center. These services are primarily for residents living in the upscale Embassy Gardens apartment complex. Apartment prices here range from £600,000 (approximately 19.5 billion VND) to £5 million (approximately 162 billion VND) for a penthouse.
