Sun Moon Lake is a peaceful, picturesque mountainous area nestled at the foot of Taiwan's main mountain range. It's also a popular romantic getaway for many tourists. Today, the couple Binh An and Phuong Nga woke up early to prepare for a SUP paddling activity, watching the sunrise over the lake together.

Stand-up paddleboarding, also known as stand-up paddleboarding or wave paddleboarding, is a popular form of recreation among tourists. At Sun Moon Lake, there are always instructors available to assist first-time visitors.
The best time to experience paddleboarding (SUP) is in the morning. At this time, the lake's surface is crystal clear under the early morning sun. The lake covers an area of approximately 7.93 square kilometers. Visitors can also explore surrounding attractions such as Shuishe Village, Ita Thao Cultural Village, Xuanguang Temple, and Chaowu Temple. Besides paddleboarding (SUP), visitors can explore by canoe, bicycle, kayak, pedal boat, and take a thrilling cable car ride up and down the adjacent valley to discover Taiwan's ethnic villages.

After a morning of SUP paddling on Sun Moon Lake, the couple Binh An and Phuong Nga, along with the rest of the group, visited Taiping Cloud Bridge in Alishan National Scenic Area. Located in Chiayi on Provincial Road 18, this area offers visitors the opportunity to explore diverse flora and fauna and majestic natural scenery, reaching altitudes of over 1,000 meters. Particularly noteworthy are the Taiping 36 Pass and Taiping Cloud Bridge.

The Taiping Cloud Bridge is a fascinating architectural marvel. Spanning two mountain slopes near the summit, it is secured by thick cables and sits over a deep, steep valley to the west. At 281 meters long, it is one of Taiwan's longest and highest suspension bridges.
On a clear day, visitors can easily see the entire western side of Taiwan. On cloudy days, however, it truly feels like being transported to a tranquil place. Long stretches of hills and mountains are shrouded in mist and fog from base to summit, with rows of trees appearing like faint ink strokes adorning the surrounding landscape.
The couple Binh An and Phuong Nga also experienced walking across the Taiping Cloud Bridge together. Couples in love often spend time here strolling, chatting, and admiring the romantic natural scenery.
The winding roads at Taiping Pass 36 always thrill tourists with their stunning scenery.
Besides that, Taiping Pass 36 is also a must-see. It's a cluster of 36 hairpin bends at an altitude of approximately 900 meters. Each bend is clearly numbered on a chestnut-colored sign. The scenery becomes increasingly breathtaking as you ascend. Along the way, there are many viewpoints for tourists to admire the landscape. After winding around the hillside, visitors will see towering trees reaching straight up to the azure sky. Waiting at the top, at the end of the journey, is a panoramic view of the vast coastal plain.
