In his new position, Mr. Tom Pieter Van Tuijl will be primarily responsible for the systematic operation and management of the resort's 984 rooms and villas in a unique Mediterranean design style.
Prior to joining Centara Hotels & Resorts, Tom held the position of Regional General Manager of FLC Hotels & Resorts – in charge of FLC SamSon Beach & Golf Resort and FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort. He also worked for Lotte Hotel Hanoi. During his career development, Tom has gained experience working for Sheraton, a Marriott brand, in both Africa and Europe in various management positions.
Centara Hotels & Resorts Group has just appointed Mr. Tom Pieter Van Tuijl as general manager of Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne.
His expertise includes room and F&B management, restaurant and bar creative, large resort operations, pre-opening operations, team development and brand management. One of his key achievements is developing local teams in large-scale properties, ensuring a seamless combination of guest satisfaction and profitability.
Mr. Tom graduated from Hotelschool The Hague, Netherlands with a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. With a foundation of knowledge, passion and more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, including 7 years of experience working in Vietnam at leading hotel groups such as FLC Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International.
Mr. Tom Van Tuijl is expected to bring a new breeze to Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne with many attractive activities, contributing to continuing the success and improving the service quality of the resort.
