In his new role, Tom Pieter Van Tuijl will be primarily responsible for the systematic operation and management of the resort's 984 uniquely designed Mediterranean-style rooms and villas.
Prior to joining Centara Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Tom held the position of Regional General Manager at FLC Hotels & Resorts, overseeing FLC SamSon Beach & Golf Resort and FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort. He also worked for Lotte Hanoi Hotel. Throughout his career, Mr. Tom gained experience working for Sheraton, a Marriott brand, in both Africa and Europe in various management roles.
Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mr. Tom Pieter Van Tuijl as the General Manager of Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne.
His expertise includes room and F&B management, creative restaurant and bar design, large-scale resort operations, pre-opening operations, team development, and brand management. One of his key achievements is developing local teams at large-scale properties, ensuring a seamless blend of guest satisfaction and profitability.
Mr. Tom graduated from Hotelschool The Hague, Netherlands, with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management. With his knowledge base, passion, and over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, including 7 years working in Vietnam for leading hotel groups such as FLC Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International, he is well-positioned for success.
Mr. Tom Van Tuijl is expected to bring a fresh perspective to Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne with many attractive activities, contributing to the continued success and improved service quality of the resort.
