'Golden Spoon 2015' finds champion for the South Central and Central Highlands regions.

With the theme "Flavors of Home - The Journey of Vietnamese Spices," the Golden Spoon Awards competition visited the South Central and Central Highlands regions on July 21st and 22nd.

The preliminary round in the coastal city of Nha Trang attracted 21 teams with 63 chefs from restaurants, hotels, and resorts in Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, and Kon Tum provinces.

Over two days of competition, the teams showcased their passion for culinary arts, pouring their heart and soul into each dish. The results were decided upon the most deserving. The champions of the South Central and Central Highlands regions were the chefs from Novotel Nha Trang Hotel.

With this victory, Novotel Nha Trang, along with 9 other second-place teams in the region, has secured a ticket to the semi-finals and is getting closer to the grand prize of 1 billion VND. The semi-finals of the Golden Spoon Awards will take place in October in Ho Chi Minh City, where they will continue to compete with other talented chefs from across the country.

The Golden Spoon Awards is a cooking competition for professional chefs in Vietnam. Having completed two seasons in 2013 and 2014, its third season promises many new features in organization, judging methods, and competition rules compared to the previous two seasons, adding more excitement and helping to discover the next generation of outstanding chefs.
