“Peach, Pho and Piano” is a film directed by Phi Tien Son, recreating the most intense and heroic moments in the battle to protect Hanoi by the army and people of the capital in late 1946 and early 1947.

This year, the Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the submission of films for the selection of Vietnamese films for the Oscars from August 9, 2024 and received 4 films registered to participate including: Dao, Pho and Piano; The Price of Happiness; Flip Side 7: A Wish and Mai. On September 23, 2024, the Selection Council worked and selected Dao, Pho and Piano to represent Vietnam. The film created a fever for ticket hunting in early 2024.
