On November 7th, the Hong Kong government announced the lifting of travel restrictions for international groups, effective this month.

Dr. Pang Yiu-kai, Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), expressed her delight at the latest reopening announcement from the Government. Dr. Pang stated, “The new reopening orders mark the return of Hong Kong and send a positive message to our tourists and business partners around the world. It is expected that these specific reopening orders will gradually help attract leisure tourists back to Hong Kong, especially consumers in neighboring markets. The Hong Kong Tourism Board will continue to work with the Government, the tourism industry, and related sectors to demonstrate Hong Kong’s diverse tourism appeal to enhance visitor preferences for the city, aiming to promote the revival of local tourism.”
