On June 8, 2025, at Sheraton Hanoi West Hotel, Da Phong Cach Media Joint Stock Company held a press conference to announce the launch of the Miss Vietnam Tourism Contest 2026 - one of the typical cultural - tourism events, aiming to promote the image of the country, people and culture of Vietnam to international friends.
Vietnam is always proud of its rich cultural and natural heritage, likened to “golden forests, silver seas” and thousands of famous landscapes. In order to maximize this potential, the Government has issued a National Strategy on Tourism Development with the goal of making Vietnam one of the top three destinations in Southeast Asia by 2025 and entering the top 50 countries with the highest tourism competitiveness in the world.
The Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 contest is held with the mission of honoring the beauty, intelligence, talent and bravery of Vietnamese women.
Within the framework of this strategy, the Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 Contest is organized with the mission of honoring the beauty, intelligence, talent and bravery of Vietnamese women; at the same time, it is a bridge to spread the cultural values, landscapes and images of the country closer to the international community. The contest is not only a journey to find typical faces but also a place where each contestant becomes a "Tourism Ambassador", bringing pride of the homeland to all parts of the country and the world.
With the theme "Vietnam Shining", the 2026 season continues the success of previous years, promising to be a journey to spread the cultural values and beauty of Vietnam to friends around the world. After the strong impressions from the journeys in 2022 and 2024 - through famous places such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Sa Pa, Cam Pha... the contest has contributed to bringing the image of Vietnam from the plains to the mountains, from the cities to the sea closer to the hearts of people at home and abroad.
The Miss Vietnam Tourism contest is not only a beauty pageant but also a journey to awaken patriotism, community awareness and the desire to reach out to the world of the young generation. The contest aims to find typical faces, take on the responsibility of Tourism Ambassador, representing Vietnamese women to attend international tourism events to continue promoting and introducing the image of the country, along with the cultural beauty, national identity and Vietnamese people to the international community.
In the context of many beauty contests exploding today, People's Artist Quang Vinh - Former Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, Chairman of the Jury of the contest, said that Miss Tourism Vietnam is always different from other beauty contests, right from the name, it speaks to the criteria and meaning of the contest. "Even the Government has national actions on tourism. It is clear that it is the desire of an entire country. The difference here is in the goals and orientation. We want to find people with the potential to become Tourism Ambassadors, who are both beautiful and have the ability to convey the content they have about tourism to stimulate the country's spearhead economy," he shared.
Miss Tourism Vietnam is always different from other beauty contests, the name itself speaks to the criteria and meaning of the contest.
In addition to People's Artist Quang Vinh, the jury of this year's contest also includes: Lawyer Nguyen Chien - Chairman of the Advisory Board, MC Thao Van, Miss Jennifer Pham, runner-up Tu Anh, Meritorious Artist Viet Anh.
The press conference to announce Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 had the participation of leaders of Multi-style Media Joint Stock Company - the organizer of the contest including: Mr. Dam Phuong Anh - General Director of Multi-style Media Joint Stock Company, Ms. Pham Hoa - Deputy General Director of Multi-style Media Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Nhu Tuan - Deputy General Director of Multi-style Media Joint Stock Company.
The program also welcomed guests: runner-up Huyen My, beauty Dao Ha. Especially the participation of the beauties of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024, including: Top 3 Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 Miss Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh, 1st runner-up Huynh Kim Anh, 2nd runner-up Le Thi Anh Tuyet.
The contest is aimed at contestants of Vietnamese nationality or people of Vietnamese origin living and working abroad; aged 18-28, 1.65 m or taller, natural beauty without cosmetic surgery or gender reassignment, unmarried, and childless. Contestants who have won the titles of Miss, Runner-up, Miss, and Runner-up at beauty contests at school, unit, and provincial levels... in the years 2021-2024 will go straight to the semi-finals.
The preliminary round for the Southern region is expected to take place in November 2025, followed by the preliminary round for the Northern region in December 2015. The semi-finals of the contest are expected to take place on December 27, 2025. The final round of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2026 is expected to be held on the evening of January 10, 2026 in Quang Ninh with the following competitions: Ao Dai Costume, Evening Gown and Behavior. The organizing committee will find the top 3 finalists to award the titles of Miss and 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up. In addition, the contest also has the following secondary awards: Miss Body, Miss Lovely Face, Miss Talent, Miss Charity, Miss Fashion, Most Popular Beauty, Miss Best Evening Gown and Miss Ao Dai Vietnam.
Miss Tourism Vietnam was first held in 2008, with the crown belonging to Phan Thi Ngoc Diem. After a hiatus, the contest returned in 2022 and has been held every two years since then. At Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024, beauty Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh from Hai Duong was crowned the highest position, the titles of 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively belonged to Huynh Kim Anh and Le Thi Anh Tuyet. The contest has a careful selection process with a panel of professional judges, methodical training programs and accompanying activities to promote tourism development, aiming to create a fair and inspiring playground.
