2022 marked a significant milestone in the life of the beauty queen from Thai Binh province when she won the top crown at the Miss Tourism Vietnam pageant on the evening of November 13th in Phu Quoc. From the competition, Ky Duyen demonstrated her enthusiasm for environmental and community activities. In the Q&A segment, she shared: “I will strive to continuously learn and improve my knowledge of culture and society. Besides that, I will try to participate in as many meaningful campaigns for the tourism industry and the environment as possible.”
After being crowned, she quickly established her role by participating in a series of tourism promotion activities. In particular, Ky Duyen always focuses on preserving cultural heritage and the environment, participating in campaigns to protect nature and honor the traditional beauty of local communities.

Inspiration from travel
For two years after her coronation, Luong Ky Duyen has continuously strived to present fresh and vibrant images of a Vietnam rich in cultural identity and abundant nature through each of her trips. With dedication and wholehearted commitment, she continues her journey, contributing in a small way to building the image of the country as an ideal destination for international tourists.
Luong Ky Duyen at Ban Ba Waterfall
With each exploration trip, Luong Ky Duyen always tries to encourage people to appreciate heritage values and protect the environment. At the Ban Ba Waterfall tourism promotion event in Tuyen Quang, the beauty queen from Thai Binh was delighted to hear about the beauty of the three-tiered waterfall. She decided to stay a day after the event to explore this waterfall, which stretches for 3 kilometers. Dressed in jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers, Ky Duyen expressed her delight at the pristine nature as she walked through sections of primeval forest, covered with bushes and large trees blocking the path. She was also amazed by the grandeur when standing at the foot of the gorge at each tier of the waterfall.
At the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM 2023, Ky Duyen served as the MC for the event. This is a national-level tourism event, attracting a large number of Vietnamese and international tourism businesses. She shared that participating in trips and seminars both domestically and internationally were memorable experiences, helping her discover the precious beauty of nature, better understand the lives of ethnic minorities, and the importance of environmental protection and sustainable tourism development.
Each activity is an opportunity for her to showcase the beauty of Vietnam and its people.
The next leg of the journey
After two years as Miss Tourism Vietnam, Luong Ky Duyen officially concluded her term. She actively contributed to promoting Vietnamese tourism by participating in numerous international events and programs for the preservation of culture and nature within the country. From showcasing the beauty of the country's landscapes to environmental protection campaigns, Ky Duyen has always been dedicated to spreading the value of Vietnamese tourism. With the enthusiasm of youth, in the coming time, she and her team will continue to explore and introduce the hidden beauties of Vietnam through various media platforms.
Besides collaborative projects developing experiential tourism in disadvantaged areas, Ky Duyen recently called on the community to help those affected by Typhoon Yagi in Northern Vietnam. Furthermore, she directly contributed a significant amount of money to the Sa Pa Town Support Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Regardless of her position, Ky Duyen always hopes to help, connect with, and share with others, especially those in difficult circumstances. In addition, through her media activities and collaborative projects, she hopes to contribute to spreading a love of tourism and raising community awareness about the value of sustainable tourism.
The end of her term does not mean the end of Miss Luong Ky Duyen's journey of contributing to the tourism industry.
