A brainchild born from a passion for travel.
Sharing with Travellive, Hong Anh (Founder of Olive Cottage) said that the idea for Olive Cottage originated from her own travels: "As someone passionate about traveling and visiting many new places, I realized that my hometown - Bao Loc - is also a potential destination, with its pleasant climate and weather, and many natural tourist attractions that are not yet widely known. Because tourism is not yet developed, there aren't many high-quality homestays with unique characteristics, so I've always dreamed of having my own homestay, which would also help promote Bao Loc tourism to more people."

Every corner of the house seems to hold the heart and soul of the person who created it.
Therefore, Olive Cottage is a project she poured her heart and soul into, from the initial design concept to the smallest decorative details. Inspired by the cozy wooden houses of Europe, Olive Cottage boasts a unique design with a dominant wood color scheme, along with exquisite and meticulous interior decoration. Every corner of this warm wooden house evokes images straight out of a fairy tale, giving visitors the feeling of stepping into a completely different world.
With the motto "just let it be natural," all the home decor items fit together in a strangely harmonious way.
"Everything just happened naturally. When building this house, I didn't encounter many difficulties, probably because the image and idea of a rustic wooden house with a strong Nordic style had been deeply ingrained in my mind for a long time. I shared the idea with my husband. Then, he designed, built, and supervised the construction. As for the interior decor, I just went around looking at different places, and if I found something that matched the desired concept, I brought it home. Strangely, everything fit perfectly, as if it were 'tailor-made' for the house, even though I bought them randomly," Hong Anh recounted.
From the window, one can look out onto a dreamy sky with a lush green garden, fragrant with flowers and grass.
The bedroom is spacious and meticulously designed down to the smallest detail.

More than just a homestay
Olive Cottage is more than just a homestay; it's a place that offers unforgettable experiences for guests. It provides full amenities for guests, including two main bedrooms, a smaller bedroom, a shared kitchen area, a BBQ garden, and free Wi-Fi.
This is also a suitable place to hold events and intimate parties.
Olive Cottage's unique feature is its modern self-check-in model, offering convenience and flexibility for guests. You can comfortably enjoy your privacy as if it were your own home, immersing yourself in the fresh air and relaxing amidst the idyllic natural surroundings.
Relaxing on the porch, time seems to slow down...
Stemming from her own expectations during her travels, Hong Anh poured her heart into Olive Cottage, hoping that guests would feel comfortable and at ease, as if they were at home, living in a picturesque house. And especially, "I want guests visiting Olive Cottage to feel like they have a wooden house on the mountain, a peaceful place to return to," Hong Anh shared.
Towards sustainable tourism and community engagement.
Behind the smiles of tourists lies the passionate story of Hong Anh and her husband – pioneers in spreading love in the heart of Bao Loc. Collaborating with AIESEC – an international non-governmental organization – Hong Anh and Olive Cottage diligently implement educational programs, environmental protection initiatives, and community development projects. These meaningful activities not only benefit the community but also connect tourists with the local culture and people.

More than just a place to stay, Olive Cottage also embodies the aspiration to contribute to the sustainable tourism development of its hometown.
Hong Anh added: "Olive Cottage is not just a place to stay, but also a place to connect people with nature and the Bao Loc community. We hope that visitors will have wonderful experiences here, while also contributing to spreading the message of sustainable tourism and making Bao Loc a destination that many tourists visit."
