Bui Van Truong (28 years old, Hue City) is a photographer. Besides taking photos for work, he often enjoys wandering around the city to capture everyday moments of a tourist destination.
Mr. Truong shared: "Hue has many historical sites for tourists to visit and explore. It has a distinctly ancient, peaceful, and gentle atmosphere. These are also unique characteristics of Hue, and any visitor who comes once will fall in love with it."
Hue, with its gentle, elegant, poetic, and tranquil charm of an ancient capital, has always captivated people's hearts.
The serene beauty of the ancient capital.
Hue – the ancient capital, a land that still preserves its traditional beauty through typical artifacts and structures that remain intact to this day. Every day, Hue resonates with the melodies of royal court music, the ancient dragon boats glide along the Perfume River, magnificent tombs stand tall, and people possess the dignified bearing of royalty, meticulously attending to every detail… All of these elements combine to create a modern Hue that still retains its vibrant cultural identity, a special highlight along the length and breadth of Vietnam.
Anyone who visits Hue cannot help but fall in love with the gentle, romantic charm of this place.
Due to its location in the central coastal region, Hue has two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. Depending on the time of year, the city possesses a unique beauty that attracts tourists. Mr. Truong said: "Each season here has its own beauty. In summer, there are lotus flowers, red and yellow flamboyant flowers. Autumn and winter bring persistent rains, making Hue more melancholic, but you can still see the beauty hidden within. When spring arrives, Hue is overflowing with countless colorful flowers; there are often flower markets during Tet (Lunar New Year), and gardens of yellow apricot blossoms that tourists love to visit and take pictures of."

Hue is beautiful and contemplative in every season, always offering peaceful and tranquil spaces for those who enjoy exploring and want to slow down.
Stripped of its heritage "garment," Hue is simply Hue...
Hue is often described as the city of the dreamy, winding Perfume River and Ngu Mountain embracing the clear blue sky. The imperial city – a witness to countless changes in the country's rule, periods of prosperity and decline. The tombs and temples bear the eternal imprint of the emperors. And no one visits Hue without seeing Thien Mu Pagoda, a majestic ancient temple that has stood for generations, its bells still echoing from ancient times to the present day.
But if you spend a day trying to immerse yourself in the life of a local in the imperial city, it will surely give you completely new perspectives and experiences. Stroll through the tree-lined streets after a refreshing rain shower, breathing in the fresh air that's hard to find elsewhere. Or admire Hue in the clear morning sun, leisurely watching the elderly people walking for exercise, or following the elderly women on their bicycles to the market. Hue is surprisingly peaceful!

The Quốc Học schoolyard was quiet.

The scenery, buildings, and people of Hue appear peaceful in a unique way, captivating the hearts of countless travelers.
"I like Hue because it has so many historical sites, and because life and people here are gentle and poetic. When you come to Hue, you can't miss the famous attractions. There are many tombs and temples in Hue, and you can try wearing traditional costumes and listening to Hue folk songs on the Perfume River. These are 'very Hue' experiences that tourists should try when they come here," Mr. Truong expressed.

Transforming into a "muse of Hue," strolling around the ancient houses in traditional attire, is also an experience worth trying.
