Da Lat is renowned as a beautiful, dreamy, and romantic tourist destination. It's also a fertile ground for fantastic camping activities. Let's explore it together with Travellive!
Cloud View Glamping & Camping
True to its poetic name, Cloud View impresses with its unique location. Situated opposite the Cloud Valley, it's no surprise that Cloud View attracts a large number of visitors who come to chase clouds and take photos.

Instead of focusing on its main strength of cloud-watching, this place prioritizes developing other services to target potential Gen Z tourists, such as: an infinity pool, wooden bridges, tea hills, wind turbines… and especially an open-air bathing area for those who want to experience thrills.
However, Cloud View is located quite far from the city center, and the access is difficult. If you want to combine your trip with a mountain climb or exploring the outskirts of Da Lat, you can consider this option. The prices aren't exactly cheap, ranging from 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 VND for adults, and around 500,000 VND for children.
The Camping Dallas - CampArt & Cafe
This could be considered a fairly traditional resort with many gentle, familiar activities such as swimming in the pool, having outdoor BBQs, and watching movies with a projector. Due to its relatively "safe" services, The Camping Dallas targets young people who like to party and want to find a place far from the city to "chill," rather than those who are keen on adventurous or exploratory activities.

A small note: this place is quite difficult to find. If you're traveling with a group, be sure to discuss the route clearly or ask Dallas staff directly for directions. The prices here are also very reasonable for visitors, as it's a complex offering dining and camping.
PineForest Camping _ DaLat
Not far from the famous Tuyen Lam Lake, PineForest focuses on promoting SUP paddling on the lake, organizing parties, bonfires, and team-building activities for groups of tourists.

It even boasts a well-invested and carefully maintained archery and darts camp. However, the facility isn't particularly large-scale or professional. At resorts like PineForest Camping, the "fun" factor is still more appealing than a serious training ground. One drawback is the inconvenient restroom and shower facilities for guests.

Chill Camp Da Lat
Located right next to the city center, Chill Camp Da Lat also offers free parking, attracting a large number of visitors. Its prime location promotes camping amidst pine forests, illuminated by warm yellow lights, and offering stunning valley views.

Keeping up with the buffet trend, Chill Camp Da Lat offers unlimited refills of BBQ menu items such as venison grilled with sesame leaves, grilled ribs with pepper sauce, etc., at a price ranging from 300,000 to 400,000 VND.
However, Chill Camp's strength is also its weakness: the activities can become monotonous, the scenery is no different from nearby locations with pine forests that are too familiar to everyone, and staying "in the city all the time" can quickly bore visitors and make them want to explore other places.
The campsite is currently closed for renovations from July 8th to August 5th, 2022. Please take note of this change if you plan to visit.
CampArt by #MợJen
CampArt, with its unique name, Aunt Jen, has strict rules for visitors.
Firstly, this place only accepts a maximum of 30 guests per night. The check-in and check-out times are also frustrating for many guests, with check-in at 5 PM and check-out at 9 AM. Even the lack of bathrooms and the remote location of toilets are a drawback for those who value convenience.

Many visitors complain about the strict regulations, but it's precisely the unique features that draw them back. Jen's campsite boasts a striking visual design with a bar right in the middle of the forest, and sturdy, high-quality canvas tents cleverly decorated, setting it apart from many other campsites in the area. Some visitors even jokingly compare it to "Chiang Mai in Da Lat."
Dalat Camping Tour - Camping in Dalat
Similar to Chill Camp, Camping in Dalat is a fairly traditional establishment. They remain committed to organizing camping tours rather than letting tourists camp spontaneously and haphazardly. Because of their experience organizing numerous camping tours, they offer a more professional service and a wider variety of camping spaces than other locations. Live music performances are also a distinctive feature of this place.

However, having followed a professional and somewhat… boring model, this is not an ideal location for exploration or unique experiences. Camping in Dalat is suitable for groups of friends who want a safe experience, want to try camping for the first time, and want some kind of activity while traveling in Dalat.
It seems that a common issue with all the places mentioned above is that the toilets are either too far from the campsite or non-existent, like Camping in Dalat. That's inconvenient, isn't it?
With these six camping suggestions, Travellive hopes that readers can find a suitable space to enjoy memorable and fun trips.
