Cherry blossoms usually bloom the most in January each year, and are a typical spring flower of the Da Lat plateau. However, from mid-November, the flowers have begun to turn pink on some street corners. Depending on the weather, the blooming spots will be 7 to 10 days apart.
This is the peak time for cherry blossom check-in. At 8am, when the mist gradually clears, the flower hill begins to become bustling with people from all over. If visitors do not want to jostle in the crowd to see the flowers, they can choose to camp overnight here, wake up early at 6am the next morning, and see the flower hill still hidden in the early morning mist and the immense green color.
The road to Mong Dao Nguyen Lac Duong is quite easy to find but a bit difficult to travel. In return, on the way here, visitors can enjoy the fresh air and peaceful scenery of the mountains and forests. Watching cherry blossoms in the suburbs, in the green forests, under the simple corrugated iron roofs will be a completely different experience compared to the inner city roads.
