On the afternoon of April 21, the functional forces of Ward 10 under the People's Committee of Da Lat City inspected areas where dogs are rented for photo taking at Lam Vien Square and Yersin Park (Tran Quoc Toan Street - along Xuan Huong Lake).
Here, the residents were asked to bring 4 large Alaskan dogs to the People's Committee of Ward 10. A record was made of the initial violation of not muzzling the dogs when walking them in public areas. At the same time, other violations reported by tourists are also being further clarified.
Tourists visiting Xuan Huong Lake (Da Lat) reported that their space to take photos of cherry blossoms was "occupied". The invaders used Alaskan dogs to "guard" the beautiful cherry blossom spots and collect money from tourists when they took photos there.
The authorities have identified the violators: NQH (24 years old, from Hung Yen) and L.D.D. (23 years old, from Vung Tau).
Two dog owners in Da Lat were fined for renting out 4 Alaskan dogs for photo shoots without muzzles.
After receiving the report, the People's Committee of Da Lat City sent a team to identify the dog owner and the time the dog was brought to a public area for rental photography in order to handle the violation. The People's Committee of Da Lat City said that the business of taking photos with dogs in public areas has been going on for quite a long time, in a manner similar to street vending, causing many difficulties in handling the case.
