The Da Lat-Trai Mat night train, known as the "Da Lat Night Journey", officially opened on the night of April 14 under the organization of Vietnam Railways Corporation. This new tourism product is attracting the attention of tourists after three days of free train tickets from April 11 to 13.
On the night train from Da Lat station to Trai Mat station, with a journey of about 7km, visitors participating in the experience all discovered new things and were excited about new services from the railway industry along with the beautiful scenery of Da Lat at night.

In addition to the regular train pairs during the day, Vietnam Railways (VNR) will organize two more train pairs DL11/DL12 and DL13/DL14, departing from Da Lat Station at 18:15 (DL11) and 20:20 (DL13) to serve passengers. In the opposite direction, train DL12 will depart from Trai Mat Station at 19:15 and DL14 will depart at 21:20.
Ticket prices on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route range from 72,000 to 100,000 VND per one-way or return trip. Passengers buying round-trip tickets will receive a 25% discount, and passengers buying group tickets of 10 or more will receive a 15 to 40% discount.
"Da Lat Night Journey" has left a deep impression on the minds of tourists with unique and novel experiences. In addition to enjoying unique music and relaxing with artichoke tea, using free wifi on the journey, tourists can also enjoy a dinner party upon request (not included in the ticket price). On the opening day, Vietnam Railways (VNR) also opened a room screening a documentary about the history of Da Lat Station and the Thap Cham - Da Lat cog railway.
In particular, at Da Lat Station, one of the events in the "night journey" series was a mini music show with the theme "Moc Sound and Da Lat", with the wonderful performance of singer Moc San, which made a strong impression on visitors.
This is the only unique cog railway in Vietnam serving tourists visiting Da Lat City. With a train journey of about 1 hour (30 minutes on the way there and 30 minutes on the way back) and a slow train speed, during the day, tourists can comfortably relax and admire the poetic beauty of Da Lat, while at night, the beauty of Da Lat is extremely magical, different, and captivating.
