Da Nang stimulates tourism through air travel.

In order to stimulate tourism and help the industry recover strongly, Da Nang will increase the frequency of domestic and international flights in the coming period.

According to information from Da Nang city, from now until October 2022, seven more airlines will operate international routes from South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, and one new international route from India to Da Nang city.

International flights will operate at approximately 90 flights per week, with 49 flights per week specifically to South Korea. In addition, domestic flights connecting Da Nang with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Can Tho, etc., will also see increased frequency.

The 2022 Asian Air Route Development Forum is expected to help Da Nang city open up many opportunities to connect with countries around the world and stimulate local tourism.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Department of Tourism, said: "Through this forum, the city will connect with airlines that have already opened routes to Da Nang, as well as connect and promote with airlines that are about to open routes, potential airlines… in order to prepare the necessary conditions to open routes from key markets as well as potential international markets in 2022."
