Following the success of the "Day of Wonders" event series, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, in collaboration with Travellive Media Group, will continue to organize the third seminar titled "Lam Dai Mien Vien" on the morning of March 26, 2025, at the Novotel Danang Premier Han River Hotel in Da Nang.
"Day of Wonders" is a series of events organized by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau to promote high-end tourism in Taiwan in 2025. Following two successful events, "Dai Cac" in Ho Chi Minh City and "Xuan Dai Nha Tap" in Hanoi, the program returns to Da Nang.
A touch of nature, a breath of culture, a journey connecting the past with the future – that is the goal of the event.

In the context of sustainable tourism becoming a global trend, this year's "Day of Wonders" is themed "Lam Dai Mien Vien," emphasizing sustainability, green tourism, and the preservation of local culture.
Mr. Derek Chou, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau in Vietnam, shared insightful perspectives at the event.
LAM DAI is a perfect combination of "Lam" (藍), the clear blue color of nature, and "Dai" (台), symbolizing a solid foundation and a broad vision. MIEN VIEN (綿遠) signifies longevity and continuous development, like traditional festivals and cultural heritage that resonate through time. "Lam Dai Mien Vien" evokes the image of a lush, sustainable land where nature, people, and culture blend together, creating a space for sustainable development.
This journey not only offers ecotourism experiences with trekking, cycling through the forest, and soaking in hot springs, but also immerses participants in the unique culture of Taiwan.
The event was attended by representatives from over 45 large and leading businesses in Da Nang, from various sectors: Tourism, Accommodation and Resorts, Education, Green Technology, Healthcare, Insurance and Finance… Attendees had the opportunity to learn about developing green eco-tourism models in Taiwan such as trekking, cycling through the forest, soaking in hot springs, and explore the unique cultural values of Taiwan through traditional festivals and cultural experiences in ethnic villages.

“Lam Dai Mien Vien” is not only a tourism promotion event but also a meeting place for networking and connecting businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in sustainable development. At the event, participating entities will have the opportunity to expand their cooperation networks, share experiences in building green tourism models, and access the latest trends in the industry. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese and Taiwanese tourism businesses to seek collaboration opportunities, thereby developing attractive, environmentally friendly, and sustainable tourism products. The event is also supported by Taiwanese airlines such as China Airlines, EVA Air, and STARLUX Airlines.
This is an opportunity to connect the two countries through experiential activities.

In addition to networking and exchange activities, guests also had the opportunity to participate in a lantern painting workshop led by DOM Art in collaboration with Novotel Danang Premier Han River Hotel.
Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to experience many exciting activities.

Taiwan is a destination that prioritizes sustainability, with many hotels and restaurants adopting green standards in their operations. These establishments utilize local ingredients to minimize emissions from long-distance food transportation, while also supporting the local agricultural economy. This helps preserve traditional farming methods and encourages biodiversity in agriculture. Many restaurants and hotels also limit disposable items, a key and common measure in reducing waste.
Recently, Taiwan also implemented a carbon fee system and officially opened registration for voluntary carbon reduction plans. This system serves as a tool to promote carbon reduction, requiring fee payers to set specific reduction targets by 2030, combined with a voluntary plan to effectively reduce emissions.
