After the soldiers sang for the people, a surprise moment came from a special guest, Captain Truong Trung Kien's mother, who appeared near the assembly fence and hugged her son. Mrs. Truong Thi Bau, who left Ninh Binh at 4am to Hanoi, arrived at the assembly street at 2pm to wait to see her son. "I felt very touched when I met my son, I looked for the car number and then looked for him," Mrs. Bau shared.
Captain Truong Trung Kien, 202nd Armored Brigade, was happy to meet his mother near the assembly point.
At around 7:30 p.m., the vehicles gathered and lined up before the parade, marching on the connecting routes at the beginning of Hoang Hoa Tham and Phan Dinh Phung streets.
