After dinner, our group eagerly prepared for our nocturnal wildlife viewing trip – a unique experience only found in pristine forests. A tranquil atmosphere enveloped us, broken only by the chirping of insects and the beam of flashlights sweeping across the bushes and blades of grass. The night sky over Cat Tien was vast and sparkling with countless stars. It had been a long time since we'd had the chance to gaze upon such a pristine sky.
The specialized vehicle slowly rolled along the forest road, everyone anxiously watching, waiting for the moment a wild animal would suddenly appear. And then, the first figures gradually emerged in the dim light: herds of golden deer grazing peacefully, their round eyes staring blankly at the silently passing group. In the distance, a wild cat darted in and out of sight among the bushes. The deeper we went into the forest, the more pristine and mysterious the scenery became, as if we had wandered into another world – a world of untouched nature, where humans are merely travelers visiting for a brief moment.
