Sustainable from design to operation

Completed in 2022, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is the first resort in Vietnam to feature the Ninh Van Greens solar energy complex. Ninh Van Greens functions in parallel with an agricultural area, contributing to the production of electricity, organic vegetables and fruits, and filtered water for the resort. A total of 800 solar panels are erected along the hillside behind the resort, shielding the 1,600 m² organic garden below.

One of Ninh Van Greens' sustainable resources is the Crystal Water Plant, where the resort produces its own bottled drinking water in natural glass bottles, helping to reduce the use of plastic bottles and emissions. To date, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay has produced an average of 11,000 liters of filtered water per month, reducing the use of 4 tons of plastic waste in the environment. Furthermore, all revenue from bottled water goes into a sustainable development fund, providing water filters to the local community through the Water for All project, bringing clean water to more than 3,000 people in remote areas.

The Hon Heo area behind the resort is one of the preferred habitats of the Black-footed Langur – a rare animal listed in Vietnam's Red Book and at high risk of extinction.
