Sustainable from design to operation
Completed in 2022, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is the first resort in Vietnam to feature the Ninh Van Greens solar complex. Ninh Van Greens operates alongside an agricultural farm, contributing to the production of electricity, organic vegetables and filtered water for the resort. A total of 800 solar panels are installed along the hillside behind the resort, covering an organic garden below with an area of 1,600 m².
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is the first resort in Vietnam to have the Ninh Van Greens solar energy complex.
One of Ninh Van Greens’ sustainable resources is the Crystal Water Plant, where the resort produces its own natural glass bottled drinking water, reducing the use of plastic bottles and emissions. To date, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay has produced an average of 11,000 liters of filtered water per month, reducing the use of 4 tons of plastic waste in the environment. Furthermore, all revenue from bottled water goes into a sustainable development fund, providing local water purifiers through the Water for All project, bringing clean water to more than 3,000 people in remote areas.

The most fertile ecosystem in Vietnam
The Hon Heo area behind the resort is one of the favorite habitats of the Black-shanked Douc Langur - a rare animal listed in the Vietnam Red Book and at high risk of extinction. Since 2020, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay has cooperated with the Green Viet wildlife conservation organization to implement a conservation program for this rare langur, increasing the number from 109 to 157 individuals in the ecosystem around the resort.
