Cai Rang Floating Market
About 6 km from Can Tho city center by road and 30 minutes by boat from Ninh Kieu Wharf, Cai Rang floating market is a floating market specializing in exchanging, buying and selling agricultural products, fruits, goods, food, and dining on the river and is a special tourist attraction of Cai Rang district.

In the past, floating markets were formed when roads and road vehicles were not yet developed, the need to buy, sell and exchange goods made people gather on the river by means such as boats, sampans, and rafts.... Today, although the road traffic network has developed widely, floating markets still exist and develop more and more bustling. While local people and neighboring areas often use medium-sized boats to transport agricultural products here for consumption, large sampans are used by traders to buy fruits and spread them everywhere, even to Cambodia and China.

Immersing in the bustling atmosphere of the market, visitors can observe and learn about the daily activities of many merchant families with many generations living together on boats. There are boats like "mobile apartments" on the river with flower pots, pets, full amenities such as TV, DVD player, sound system..., even motorbikes parked on the boat.
Traditional noodle oven
Besides Cai Rang floating market, the second interesting place you should visit is the traditional noodle factory. Cai Rang has many families making noodle, the most famous are Chin Cuu, Sau Hoai... at Rau Ram bridge, attracting many foreign tourists to visit.

You should visit the factory in the morning to be able to see with your own eyes every step of making chewy and sweet rice noodles - from cooking rice paper, drying, cutting into noodles and other steps. Here there are all kinds of noodles with many colors, made from natural ingredients - red from gac fruit, green from pandan leaves, white from rice flour... Especially, you will be able to try some of the traditional noodle making steps at Sau Hoai factory.

This place is also famous for its “Hu Tieu Pizza”. This dish is likened to an Italian pizza with a Vietnamese soul, it is made of crispy fried noodles, topped with a thin layer of egg, peanuts, braised meat and various vegetables.
Muoi Cuong cocoa garden
Muoi Cuong cocoa garden in My Ai hamlet (My Khanh commune, Phong Dien district) is an interesting stop for tourists who love the Mekong Delta. Here, in addition to enjoying products made from cocoa fruit, visitors also have the opportunity to experience with the owner the stages of brewing cocoa beans, drying them in cast iron pots, grinding them into powder, processing them into finished products and can buy some as gifts.

Every day, Mr. Muoi Cuong's cocoa garden attracts 50 - 70 visitors, including many foreigners, who watch and are very interested in the handmade cocoa making process. With the handmade method, he makes many products such as: cocoa wine, cocoa butter, cocoa powder and pure cocoa.
Binh Thuy Ancient House
Located at 144 Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District, Binh Thuy Ancient House, nearly 150 years old, is one of the rare ancient architectural works that is still quite intact in Can Tho. The house was recognized as a National Architectural and Artistic Relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2009.

In 1870, Mr. Duong Van Vi (third generation of the Duong family) chose the land near the mouth of Binh Thuy canal to build a house and establish his career. To this day, the house is still owned and operated by the sixth generation of the Duong family.

The house has an area of 6,000 m2designed into 5 rooms (breaking the traditional 3-room rule in the West). Mr. Duong Chan Ky (fourth generation) renovated the house according to European architecture, so the house has an ancient, solemn look mixed with freedom and elegance. Mr. Duong Van Ngon (fifth generation) collected many precious orchid varieties to grow, making Bich Thuy orchid garden still famous today.

Possessing long-standing cultural, artistic and historical values, Binh Thuy ancient house is often chosen as the filming location for films about ancient times in Vietnam, such as: The Beauty of Tay Do, The Alluvial Roads, Debt of Life... In particular, the French classic - L'Amant (The Lover) was also filmed here in 1992.
