Simple parts like fuses and lights are also extremely important.
Especially if you're traveling on dirt roads like in Vietnam, don't forget to bring rope and a shovel in case your wheels get stuck in the mud. Experience caravan tourism in Da Lat.
To get to Da Lat, instead of taking National Highway 20, the section from Madagui through Dong Nai, you can take a shortcut via Ta Pua Pass. This will save you time. This is a new route, so the scenery is still quite pristine. The population is sparse. Vehicles can travel much more leisurely. However, you should still be careful on the bends and curves. Especially when encountering livestock, you should stop and slow down immediately.
Alternatively, you can also choose the route from Ta Pao. This route takes you through beautiful rice fields and mountainous areas. The downside is that it's quite long. If you want a shortcut to your destination, this route isn't for you.
Camping on the hilltop
When visiting Da Lat, many people immediately think of the famous Three Pine Trees Hill. However, the road leading up to this hill is now closed to four-wheeled vehicles. Therefore, you cannot get there by caravan.
However, another equally beautiful camping spot is Hon Bo Peak. The stunning scenery of Hon Bo Peak is perfect for parking your vehicle, watching the sunset, or chasing clouds. Looking down from the campsite into the valley of Thai Phien flower village is breathtaking. At night, hang lanterns around the campsite for a magical evening.
Another place caravan tourists can camp is Suoi Vang Lake. Ask the locals for directions. Suoi Vang Lake is located right at the pier leading to the lonely pine hill, so it's not too difficult to find.
You'll also find services specifically for campers, complete with necessary equipment. These are all provided by local people. In the morning, you can watch the beautiful sunrise over the rippling lake.
