Prepare yourself to take on 30ft (900m) jumps from stunning waterfalls or even higher from a soaring plane on Bantaya Island. For extreme sports, rest assured that fully certified professional instructors will be there to support you at all times.

And of course, don’t miss the Edge Coaster around the Crown Regency Hotel and Tower 38. The Edge Coaster takes you around the building and gives you a great view of the city, before tilting down at a 55-degree angle and giving you a really cool feeling!

Beach Lovers: Palawan

For those sun-lovers who never tire of spending time lying on the sand, soaking up the sun and listening to the waves, then look no further and head straight to Palawan. This island, located in the southwest of the Philippines, boasts some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet in the El Nido and Coron areas.

Today, Pampangan cuisine has been elevated by professional chefs through variations in ingredients and flavors, allowing gourmets to experience the dish in the most classy way without losing the inherent local spirit.

The "Adventurers": the Cordillera Mountains

What if you chose to venture into the mountains of Northern Luzon, Philippines? The rugged Cordillera region is made up of six provinces: Mountain Province, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Abra, and Apayao. This region is home to the Igorot people, who in the past were able to resist Spanish colonial rule thanks to the region’s difficult terrain.

Things to do in Sagada in the Mountain Province include: go spelunking in the Sumaguing Cave; explore the fascinating hanging coffins; and watch the sunrise and sea of clouds at Kiltepan Viewpoint. The region also has stunning rice terraces, the largest and most famous of which is Banaue. For those interested in getting tattooed in the traditional way of the century-old legend Whang Od, head to Buscalan in Kalinga, where the famous artist still keeps the unique tattooing style alive today.

History buffs: Intramuros and Corregidor

For history buffs, visit Intramuros and Corregidor. Located in the heart of the modern and bustling Metro Manila, Intramuros – also known as the walled city – boasts a well-preserved Spanish-era architecture. The cobblestone streets of Intramuros are a pleasant contrast to the bustling Metro just outside. There is also a walking tour of the lively and engaging Carlos Celdran campus to learn more about the country’s history. Don’t forget to stop by Fort Santiago and San Agustin Church.

Corregidor Island is just a short distance from the Metro and is located at the entrance of Manila Bay. In the past, Manila was constantly attacked by enemies. Corregidor was built to strengthen and defend the harbor along with three neighboring islands. Today, the ruins of the islands are still numerous, making it possible to visit both day and night tours.

Shopaholics: Metro Manila

For those who love to shop while traveling, Metro Manila is an ideal hub in Asia. Exploring the Mall of Asia shopping district can take up a whole day. In Makati City, Rockwell's Power Plant and the Greenbelt complex are home to a number of luxury brands and international brands brought in from all over the world.

The Philippines is also known for its skilled artisans and has a market for unique, quality local goods that has been growing in recent years. Head to SM Megamall and its large Kultura branch to find local Filipino products, from basic food and souvenirs to traditional clothing and beautifully crafted homewares. Keep an eye out for leather shoes made in Marikina (a city long known for its quality shoe industry) and pearls (both cultured and natural).

Nature Lovers: Rizal

Rizal province – just a few hours away from Metro Manila – is a great place for nature lovers. For some, hiking trails are a must-do. The most famous is Mt. Daraitan, with the crystal clear Tinipak River running through it. For mountain bike enthusiasts, head to San Mateo in Rizal.
