In "Fu Bao – Grandpa's Treasure," directors Shim Hyung Joon and Thomas Ko skillfully combined real-life footage with colorful and sweet animations. The animated scenes not only tell the story of Fu Bao's parents – pandas Le Bao and Ai Bao – but also take the audience back to the early moments of Fu Bao's life, from birth to becoming a national phenomenon. Viewers seem to accompany Fu Bao's journey of more than 1,000 days in Korea; feel the joy, the jubilation, and even the heartbreaking moments of forced separation.

What makes “Fu Bao – Grandpa’s Treasure” so appealing is its powerful message of love and hope. Although he is no longer Fu Bao's caretaker, Kang is still worried about the panda, especially about the stress Fu Bao went through during the transportation and quarantine.
