Similarly, Thai Airways, Vietnam Airlines, and Vietravel Airlines currently operate this route at prices ranging from 6.3 to 6.8 million VND per round-trip ticket. Even Vietjet Air, a budget airline, recorded prices as high as 9 million VND for tickets from Hanoi to Bangkok on January 4th and back on January 6th.

From Ho Chi Minh City, the lowest price for a direct flight from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Suvarnabhumi Airport on January 3rd was 3.5 million VND, while the highest was 8.1 million VND. If traveling on January 4th or 5th, prices ranged from 2.5 million to 8.1 million VND, depending on the flight time and airline. The lowest price for a direct flight from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport on January 3rd was 3.2 million VND/one-way, and the highest was 4 million VND/one-way, but the number of available flights and seats was limited. If traveling on January 4th or 5th, prices ranged from 1.75 million to 4 million VND, depending on the flight time and airline.
The appeal of the ASEAN Cup has led many fans to spend considerable sums of money to support the Vietnamese team.
Therefore, tourists and football fans may have to spend tens of millions of Vietnamese dong just on airfare to travel to Thailand to watch the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 final. Despite the higher airfare compared to normal days, many enthusiastic Vietnamese fans are still trying to buy tickets and change tours to be in Thailand to cheer on Xuan Son and his teammates.
