Summer vacation is the ideal time for people to travel, rest, and relax after a stressful year of studying and working. Due to the hot weather, many people choose to travel to the beach to enjoy the cool air and participate in recreational activities on the sea. Some popular beach destinations such as Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Ha Long, etc., always attract a large number of domestic and international tourists, especially in the summer.
In particular, due to factors such as rising fuel prices and increased operating costs, airfares have risen significantly recently. This makes it difficult for many people, especially families with average and low incomes, to afford them.
Compared to air travel, sleeper train tickets are much more affordable, suitable for many families and travelers. Train tickets are usually only one-third or one-quarter the price of plane tickets for the same journey. Trains are a suitable option for long journeys, allowing passengers to comfortably rest and enjoy the scenery along the way. Modern train carriages are equipped with many amenities such as air-conditioned sleeper beds, Wi-Fi, and televisions, meeting the diverse needs of passengers.
People choose trains as the optimal mode of transportation for the summer travel season.
Currently, some trains are completely sold out, such as SE19 (departing at 7:40 PM, arriving at 6:00 AM) and SE17 (departing at 8:25 PM, arriving at 7:54 AM). There are only 3 seats left on the SE1 train (departing at 8:55 PM, arriving at 6:53 AM). This sold-out situation is expected to last until mid-July, especially for high-quality trains and those with convenient departure times.
Compared to air travel, train travel offers several advantages, attracting small groups of travelers, especially given the current high airfare prices. Train fares are much more stable than airfares, less affected by market demand. Trains do not use a tiered pricing system like airplanes, where fares can spike during peak hours or closer to the departure date. This allows travelers to easily budget for their trip.
The train had compartments with two beds and served free meals.

When traveling in a small group, the cost of train tickets is often cheaper when divided among passengers compared to plane tickets. Trains also don't have many extra fees like checked baggage or seat selection, which helps travelers save even more money.
Traveling by train offers an experience of connecting with the local scenery and people that airplanes cannot provide. Travelers can relax, move around comfortably in the train carriage, chat, and have fun with friends without the spatial limitations of an airplane.
Railway-based tourism products need to meet the demand for "all-inclusive" packages to attract customers and promote the development of railway tourism. Combining diverse services, offering many options, ensuring service quality, and providing reasonable prices will contribute to creating attractive tourism products that attract domestic and international tourists.
