The Asian Architecture Awards officially launched with the theme "Impactful Asia," conveying the message of an Asia with a strong influence, promoting the development and spread of Asian architecture and design worldwide. The awards took place from December 2022 to June 2023, attracting a large number of applicants from individuals, organizations, and businesses in the industry.
Dylan Yip, Deputy General Director for Business Development at the Asian Architecture & Design Awards (AADA), shared: “In the context of the Asian Architecture & Design industry's widespread influence not only regionally but globally, with projects creating many unique changes, we recognize the need to honor outstanding projects and products from individuals and entities in the industry that have a positive impact on the region's infrastructure development. The 30 awards across various fields of AADA will be clear evidence of the rise and strong development of the Asian Architecture & Design industry.”

Accordingly, AADA officially accepts applications from December 2022 to February 15, 2023, with no limit on the number of applicants from within and outside Asia. There are 30 award categories, honoring outstanding projects, individuals, and businesses in 6 main fields: Architectural Design, Interior Design, Furniture Product Design, Architectural Design Firms, Interior Design Firms, and Furniture Product Manufacturers/Distributors.
From February to May 2023, a panel of 20 leading experts, including professors and researchers in architecture, and community professionals from five Asian countries, will judge the projects based on key criteria: Idea, Impact, Differentiation, Innovation, and Functionality. The most outstanding projects and businesses will be announced at the awards gala in June 2023 at the Fairmont Hotel (Singapore).
Mr. Dalyn Yip affirmed: “AADA is a fair competition, with transparent criteria and impartiality from reputable professionals. Through 30 awards, AADA provides a comprehensive picture of the Asian Architecture and Design industry. From there, it celebrates creativity, promotes progress, and brings practical value to individuals, organizations, businesses, and the community.”

In particular, the Gala Night, including the Red Carpet Event and Awards Ceremony, taking place at the Fairmont Hotel (Singapore) in June 2023, will feature representatives of the best projects, experts, celebrities, industry influencers, and international media outlets.
