The phenomenon of “Red Fuji” is extremely rare, seen only once or twice a year, is a blend of natural beauty - the transition from late summer to early autumn, in harmony with the red light of dawn or sunset on the mountain. The Japanese believe that the phenomenon of “Red Fuji” symbolizes success and happiness, prosperity, human aspirations and hopes.

In addition to its captivating beauty, the SBGH327 also represents Grand Seiko’s philosophy of precision and innovation – “The Nature of Time”. The watch’s case undergoes the traditional Zaratsu polishing process, thereby significantly improving its appearance.

Surprisingly, the SBGH327 is equipped with the Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 9S85 movement, instead of the Spring Drive movement. The 9S85 was first introduced in 2009 and is assembled at the Shizukuishi Watch Works. The movement is calibrated to an accuracy of +5/-3 seconds per day, using MEMS technology to precisely produce the escape wheel and other components. At the same time, Grand Seiko also uses two exclusive materials, SPRON 530 for a higher tension wire and SPRON 610 for greater shock and magnetic resistance.

Only 168 SBGH327s were produced worldwide and sold exclusively at Grand Seiko Boutiques across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.
