In order to maintain and enhance Hanoi's role as a major tourism center of the country, attracting a large number of people, international and domestic tourists to visit and experience, the People's Committee of Hanoi City has just issued a detailed plan to continue implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated June 26, 2016 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee for the period 2024-2025.

Continue to build the image of Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - High-Quality - Attractive" destination, meeting the development requirements in the new situation, and affirming its position as a leading city in the world.

To achieve the above objectives, Hanoi is implementing programs to promote and introduce its tourist destinations to key and potential international markets such as China, Japan, South Korea, the United States, ASEAN countries, Eastern Europe, the EU, India, and countries in the Middle East, Australia, etc.
Expedite the preparation and completion of construction plans for several tourism functional zones and key tourism development projects in the following areas: Ba Vi, Huong Son - Quan Son, Soc Mountain - Dong Quan Lake, Dong Mo Lake, etc.
Notably, the city will complete the river tourism route from Chuong Duong Do wharf - Bat Trang - Ninh So (Thuong Tin district) - Hung Yen and continue to expand river tourism products. Gradually, it will develop and promote: night tourism, high-quality medical and healthcare tourism; sports tourism and golf tourism.
In 2024, Hanoi will complete two cultural and craft village tourism routes: the Hanoi city center - Thanh Tri - Thuong Tin - Phu Xuyen route and the Hanoi city center - Thanh Oai - Ung Hoa - My Duc route.
