Hanoi reopens Huong Pagoda festival after a 3-year delay.

After being postponed for three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Huong Pagoda Festival is being held again to serve the sightseeing needs of visitors from all over the country. The 2023 Huong Pagoda Festival will last for three months (January 23 - April 23, 2023) with the theme of safety, civility, and friendliness.

The expected entrance fee to Huong Pagoda and insurance is 80,000 VND per adult and 40,000 VND per child. The price for a round-trip boat ride to Huong Tich is 50,000 VND per person, and to Long Van - Tuyet Son is 35,000 VND per person.

During this year's festival, My Duc district requested relevant agencies to switch from traditional ticket sales to an electronic ticketing model.

Thus, after being postponed for three years due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Huong Pagoda Festival has officially reopened with all its activities. Previously, during the Lunar New Year of 2022, Huong Pagoda also opened its doors to visitors but did not hold the opening ceremony.

In 2023, the organizing committee also piloted an electric vehicle model at bus stations to make it convenient for tourists to visit and enjoy the beauty of Huong Son commune when traveling to Huong Pagoda.

The Huong Pagoda Festival is the longest-running in the country, attracting millions of visitors every year. Huong Pagoda is located in Huong Son commune, My Duc district, about 60 km from the center of Hanoi.
