Accordingly, Hanoi will only organize fireworks displays on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2023 in 30 districts, towns and cities with 31 locations, of which Hoan Kiem District has 2 high-altitude shooting locations.

Regarding the 2023 New Year's Eve celebration, Hoan Kiem District Police are implementing a plan to ensure security and order for the Countdown festival to welcome the new year 2023 and the 2023 Vietnam International Half Marathon, which will take place around Hoan Kiem Lake in the early morning of January 1, 2023.

Ho Chi Minh City

On the occasion of New Year's Eve 2023, Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks for 15 minutes at two locations: Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) with low-altitude fireworks and the beginning of the Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc City) with high-altitude fireworks.
