According to Tran Thi Thuy Lan, representative of the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board, before the pandemic, the unit regularly organized cultural activities such as exhibitions, displays, performances of Ca Tru and Chau Van folk singing, and introductions to traditional crafts at historical and heritage sites, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic, many historical sites are temporarily closed to ensure safety and prevent the spread of the disease.
In the new context of "safely adapting to the pandemic," the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board will coordinate with relevant units to enhance connectivity between historical sites and heritage areas through new, more attractive tours and routes, creating more choices for tourists when visiting and experiencing the Old Quarter.
Previously, many tours in the capital city had been designed to kickstart the tourism industry, such as the walking tour "French Architecture in the Heart of Hanoi," the high-end cycling tour "A Different Day in the Familiar Heart of Hanoi," and the cycling tour "Mysterious Land in the Heart of Hanoi"...
