Hilton, the famous American hotel group, recently opened Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa. This is the fourth luxury resort of this company in the Maldives archipelago. Previously, Hilton launched brands such as Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel complex is owned by Amingiri Holdings Pvt Ltd and managed by Hilton.
"The Maldives is the most popular destination for travelers around the world. It was also the first tourist destination to open during the Covid-19 pandemic and occupancy figures have been consistently high," said Alan Watts, president of Asia Pacific, Hilton.
Nestled on Amingiri Island in the North Malé Atoll, Hilton Maldives Amingiri is accessible via a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. The resort features 109 overwater and beach villas, each with a private pool and breathtaking views of the surrounding turquoise lagoon. A harmonious blend of Maldivian accents and modern touches, the villas welcome plenty of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing a refreshing color palette that reflects the warm hues of the sea and sky.
Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa offers a variety of new experiences.
Designed to immerse guests in the wonders of nature, the overwater pool villas feature stairs leading directly to the island lagoon and poolside hammocks to enjoy the rhythm of the ocean waves; while the beach villas offer direct access to the sparkling white sand, deck swings and a gazebo on the shore. All villas have spacious bathrooms with ocean-facing bathtubs and relaxing indoor and outdoor showers.
The highlight of Hilton Maldives Amingiri is the six-bedroom Amingiri Residence, ideal for larger groups seeking privacy in its own right. Set in a secluded landscaped cove, the residence will welcome guests with its own private arrival dock and dedicated sundeck with uninterrupted 360-degree views of the Maldivian skyline when it launches in November 2022.
“Introducing new offerings at this luxury resort cluster such as a dedicated rooftop lounge for teens, a cocktail lounge and a six-bedroom residence, Hilton Maldives Amingiri is set to appeal to guests of all ages looking to reconnect during their stay with nature, loved ones or themselves,” said Alexandra Jaritz, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
Hilton Maldives Amingiri takes guests on a culinary journey. From Origin, a dining experience that celebrates sustainable seafood sourcing to the 24/7 Habitat restaurant. Alongside, the rustic Beach Shack, an authentic dining experience, the resort’s dining offerings are carefully curated to satisfy every palate.
Resort chain includes 109 villas floating on the sea.
Celebrating tea cultures from around the world, the modern Sip Tea Lounge’s extensive tea collection allows guests to indulge and unwind with rare flavours and timeless favourites. Champagne and gin are on display at the swim-up Eden bar, while the Aura pool bar features a dedicated cocktail room for self-serve guests.
A host of inspiring experiences await seasoned travellers and young explorers: the Krakengiri Kids Club features an outdoor children’s play pool and mini park, while the Re:Fuel rooftop bar offers teenagers a quiet retreat and a hidden entrance designed just for them. The Amingiri Spa offers a wide range of services, including rejuvenating treatments and cleansing hammam rituals.
