"Sea pools" is the name usually given to natural saltwater pools surrounded by rocky cliffs in the sea. These natural cliffs have "accidentally" connected to each other, forming depressions into which seawater flows, creating a true natural swimming pool.

These natural pools in the middle of the sea are an endless source of inspiration for exploration due to their pristine and surreal beauty. Now, you don't need to travel abroad to experience these unique pools; you can enjoy them right here in Vietnam. So why hesitate? Come and enjoy a glorious summer with blue seas, golden sunshine, and majestic nature!
Mui Tau Be in Con Dao, Vung Tau
Recently, Mui Tau Be (Cape Tau Be) in Con Dao has become incredibly popular, with many young people checking in there. This destination is located on the road from Co Ong Airport to Cay Bang town. It's called Mui Tau Be because it's surrounded by long, vertical rock formations that create an arc embracing the headland, giving it the appearance of a ship's bow from a distance.

This is a must-visit check-in spot in Con Dao when traveling to Vung Tau, thanks to the surreal beauty of the natural pool in the middle of the sea, and it's also a great place to watch the stunning sunrise and sunset.
Like other natural pools in the middle of the sea, the natural pool at Mui Tau is formed by natural cliffs and seawater. The seawater here is a deep blue, very clear and cool, providing a refreshing feeling, especially on hot summer days. Swimming further inside, the cliffs enclose a small, very interesting pool.

This place is usually uncrowded with tourists, so you can enjoy yourself without feeling crowded or suffocated. The exact location of Mũi Tàu Bể (Cape Tàu Be) isn't precise. To get there, you should contact the locals for directions and travel by boat or canoe. However, to reach the natural pool in the middle of the sea at Mũi Tàu, remember to wear shoes when swimming because the layers of oysters clinging to the rocks can easily cut your feet and cause injury.

Furthermore, Tau Be Cape is one of the most beautiful spots in Con Dao to watch both sunrise and sunset. To catch the sunrise, you need to be at Tau Be Cape before 4:45 AM, choose a good viewing spot, set up your camera to take some Instagram-worthy photos. Afterwards, you can swim in the sea and then return to the island's center.
Nghê Cape is located on the Sơn Trà peninsula, Da Nang.
Located on the Son Tra peninsula, Mui Nghe is the first place to witness the sunrise in the beautiful tourist city of Da Nang. Not only is it a popular spot for young people to watch the sunrise, but the most special feature of Mui Nghe is the natural pool in the middle of the sea, surrounded by towering cliffs.

Each time the tide rises and falls, or the waves crash in, water is drawn into the lake by the waves pushing through the crevices in the rocks, collecting inside and resembling a natural swimming pool right in the middle of the sea. This miraculous hand of nature has transformed this place into a new tourist destination, just as beautiful as the infinity pools at luxurious hotels.

The water here is so clear you can see the bottom, with fish and other small marine creatures swimming inside. Although it's just a small pool of seawater, it's home to many kinds of seafood. Gathering to search for snails, remove oysters along the rocks, and catch sea urchins as trophies or proof of your visit to Mũi Nghê in Da Nang will be unforgettable memories for a vibrant summer.

To reach Mũi Nghê, you can follow the Võ Nguyên Giáp coastal road up Sơn Trà mountain, past Linh Ứng pagoda, and then turn onto the path leading to the thousand-year-old banyan tree. After passing the banyan tree, at the end of the road, you can park your vehicle and begin your trekking journey to this pristine Mũi Nghê. The route from the city to Mũi Nghê is only about 10 km long, but you need to be careful as the road is quite narrow and steep.

One thing to note is that this area is not yet developed for tourism, so activities such as swimming, fishing, or climbing to Nghê Cape require extreme caution because the sea below has many whirlpools and rugged cliffs.
Bai Nho - Ganh Hang beach on Phu Quy island, Binh Thuan province.
Nestled beneath a hill not far from the district center, Bai Nho - Ganh Hang boasts crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white sand. You can even see beautiful coral reefs right beneath the pristine surface. It's no exaggeration to say that this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quy, Binh Thuan.

Nature is truly miraculous; somehow, the massive cliffs rising vertically from the sea, battered by the waves, gradually created a depression in the ocean – a unique sight rarely seen on other beaches.

This serendipitous event transformed Bai Nho - Ganh Hang into an ideal "Instagrammable" spot for many young people from all over the region. Enjoying the cool, fresh water while taking photos at the unique swimming pool will give you unforgettable experiences.

Additionally, Gành Hang also has old, abandoned dams of various sizes, which are also ideal photo spots. In the past, locals used to raise squid here, but now these dams are no longer in use and have become a popular check-in location in Gành Hang.
The ideal time to visit the pool in the middle of the sea at Gành Hang is around July each year, when the weather is a perfect combination of golden sunshine illuminating the turquoise sea under a vast, clear sky.

These natural pools in the middle of the sea are mostly pristine, untouched by human activity, and therefore lack the amenities of other tourist destinations. If one day you want a change and seek out a secluded place, don't forget to check out these three surreal natural pools in the middle of the sea!
