Every November to early December, tourists and Thai people flock to the north of the golden temple country to enjoy the cold air. This is also the time when wild sunflowers bloom brilliantly.
If you travel by motorbike, you will easily see scattered yellow spots on the green trees along the roads. This type of wildflower in the daisy family grows in cold air, that is the reason why wild sunflowers only appear at the end of the year.
