Although Autumn has just passed, the pure white color of plum blossoms has spread throughout the gardens. These plum blossoms are called off-season flowers by the locals, because normally, plum blossoms will start to bloom in late January and early February. However, from the beginning of November, many plum trees in Moc Chau have begun to bloom, although still shy, not yet covering the whole plateau in white, but still enough to make people flutter.
Moc Chau Plateau is entering the most beautiful days of the year, when everywhere is the pure white color of plum blossoms.
Intoxicated by the beauty of plum blossoms
Pham Van Phong, a young man who loves to explore the highlands of the West and Northeast of the country, shared: "Although I came to Moc Chau not yet in the season of plum blossoms, there were a few small gardens that had bloomed before, so I was able to experience the typical flower of this land. The beauty of the pure white plum blossoms combined with the sunlight creates a very poetic scene."
Plum blossoms are common in the mountainous provinces of the Northeast and Northwest, but Moc Chau is especially attractive to tourists because plum blossoms not only appear in certain areas but also cover a large area, from the hilltops to the vast fields. Plum blossoms often bloom simultaneously and are most beautiful in the plum valleys of Mu Nau, Na Ka... Normally, the flowers bloom at the time when winter has just ended, spring is coming and the weather becomes a little warmer, then they begin to sprout and bloom. Plum blossoms bloom in clusters, fragile petals embracing shy yellow pistils.

Lucky to admire the first flowers of the season, Phong excitedly said: "My most special experience was being lucky to have favorable weather, light and dry sunshine, suitable for taking beautiful photos. Especially, I also hunted the sea of clouds while walking along the road."
Plum blossom season in Moc Chau not only attracts tourists by the white color that embraces the lush green land, but also by the fresh, peaceful air of this place. Stepping into the plateau that is full of life by this flower season, everyone will surely feel as if they are lost in a fairyland. With about 1,300 hectares of white plum covering, from the countryside to the village roads, from the national highway to the small roads, Moc Chau has become a "plum blossom paradise" attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to come and admire its breathtaking beauty.

Spring flower season
While most flowers wait for the warm sunshine of spring to bloom: January is brilliant with the pink color of peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, and rose hips; February is sweet with the fragrance of longan flowers, the freshness of grapefruit flowers; March is purple with the color of xoan flowers and the bright red color of kapok flowers... plum blossoms choose a special time for themselves to bloom. In the frost of winter, when the cold makes the surrounding plants and grass wither, the sap of life still silently and strongly flows in the thin, dry plum branches to one day proudly bloom into small, pretty, pure white flowers.
Plum blossoms fall, which is also the time when spring officially knocks on the door. Although not as brilliant as other flowers, plum blossoms still quietly complete their mission, like a messenger announcing spring.

Walking in the fresh, peaceful atmosphere of Moc Chau, Phong was fascinated by the winding roads, and after each turn, he saw mountains upon mountains. He let himself wander freely in the vast, free natural space.

Immersed in the vastness of Moc Chau, who can forget these valuable experiences?
"The most memorable experience I had during my visit to Moc Chau was probably staying at the Retreat Home Ban Doi - Moc Chau homestay. The peaceful scenery and every little thing here allowed me to slow down and touch nature. Thanks to that, I was able to relax and unwind a lot after the hustle and bustle of life. Especially during this season, if the weather is good, you can hunt clouds right near the homestay, only about a 1 km walk away," Phong said.
Tourists can also hunt clouds when coming to Moc Chau this season.
Phong also suggested that the best time to visit Moc Chau plum blossom season is before or after Tet. At that time, the mountains, hills and valleys are covered in white plum blossoms. For tourists who want to check-in as a souvenir, check the weather before going. Dry weather and warm sunshine will make the pictures more sparkling. There are also many tourist attractions around Moc Chau, so if you spend about 2 to 3 days, you can fully experience the scenery and beauty of this place.
