According to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, on the morning of July 31, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province decided to postpone the Hue Festival 2020 (scheduled to take place from August 26-31) to 2021.
The province has also assigned the Hue Festival Center to send letters of apology to sponsors, embassies of countries with participating art troupes, travel agencies, residents and tourists. Previously, the Organizing Committee had changed the schedule of the Hue Festival 2020 twice.

Hue Festival 2020 is defined as a festival, a cultural event mainly to promote the quintessence of Vietnam. Initially, the festival is expected to have art troupes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Lao Cai, Dak Lak and many other art groups participating. In addition, this cultural event is also expected to feature international artists.
