This marks the first time the "Crossroads of Time" program has been filmed on an open-air stage on a Ha Long cruise ship, with 500 audience members participating in the live recording. The show features the duo Hoang Hai and Huong Tram, along with music director Duong Cam. The program will be broadcast at 8 PM on Saturday, June 22nd, on FPT Play.

The first night of the Love in the Bay by Ambassador Cruise concert, a live collaboration with FPT Play's Time Crossroads, officially took place on the Ambassador Cruise ship in Ha Long Bay.

Songs like "Hoa Nang" (Sunny Flowers), "Cho Em Gan Anh Them Chut Nua" (Let Me Be Closer to You), "Em Gai Mua" (Rainy Girl)... were "magically" transformed with new arrangements, perfectly suited to the unique setting of the heritage bay. Staying true to the program's criteria of being a live broadcast with the audience present, music director Duong Cam led a successful evening of music featuring two leading vocalists and 20 songs over more than two hours on the cruise ship stage.

"It Turns Out I'm Not That Fragile" is one of the songs that holds the most memories for Huong Tram, having been released just before she went to the US. It was when she showed everyone a vulnerable, easily hurt, and fragile image, but it also marked a step towards Huong Tram's own courage in daring to reveal the truth behind her strong personality. Huong Tram's parents were also present at the live show to support their daughter.

“That song holds so many memories for Tram, because at that time, Tram showed everyone her most vulnerable side. People saw Tram suffering from insomnia, people saw Tram with scratches. But for Tram, this is a memorable song because it says: Actually, showing the world your most vulnerable side is when you bravely reveal the truth behind the girl you are.”

Sharing her thoughts on the decision to move to the US while at the peak of her career, Huong Tram said she was inspired by a quote from Oprah Winfrey – one of the most influential women in the world.

“The most important thing for someone born to be an artist is to have a giving heart. To do that, we must always nurture the ‘cup’ in our soul, nurturing it until one day it overflows. That overflowing energy of the artist is what we dedicate to giving. One day, when Tram's workload increased, she felt that energy was somewhat depleted, so she stopped to find new melodies, new sounds to bring back all the energy to fill her heart, to fill the cup in her soul once again. And now, Tram confidently says to you: Huong Tram, standing before you now, is full of energy to give, to sing for you.”

In addition, she performed a mashup of the songs "With You, It's Forever" and "You." Both are songs that have been associated with her name since the beginning of her career.

It is known that after participating in a live show in Ha Long Bay on the evening of June 15th, Huong Tram will release her new music video titled "Only You Go Away." The song marks Huong Tram's powerful return after coming back to Vietnam to work with a fresher, more versatile image.

Singer Hoang Hai performs a duet with singer Huong Tram.

Performing for the first time on the Ambassador cruise ship stage, Hoang Hai humorously shared that 10 months after The Masked Singer competition, he had to "move his bedroom to the airplane because he was performing so much that he had to sleep on the plane all the time, as 10 months of performing was equivalent to 10 years of hibernation."

During this duet with singer Huong Tram, Hoang Hai shared that there were many surprising and novel aspects to singing mashup songs, especially the carefully prepared and well-invested hit song swaps. In addition, Huong Tram didn't hesitate to admit she's a huge fan of Hoang Hai. She affirmed that she could memorize all the songs in his album, giving a short performance of "Autumn Love" - a once-famous hit by Hoang Hai.

In addition, the show's signature hit song exchange, featuring Huong Tram's fresh and emotional rendition of "Em Se La Giac Mo" and Hoang Hai's powerful vocals of "Em Gai Mua," surprised the audience with one unexpected performance after another.

To ensure a successful performance with new arrangements that truly captured the spirit of performing in the heritage bay area, we must mention Music Director Duong Cam. It is known that to present 20 new arrangements and act as the "storyteller" on stage for the two singers, Music Director Duong Cam and his team, along with the Background band, worked for a month to create high-quality songs for the audience.

Singer Hoang Hai shared that he felt he was being a bit "risky" by accepting the invitation to participate in a program featuring music director Duong Cam – a talented musician known for his ability to reinterpret familiar songs. Singer Huong Tram also agreed that he is a perfectionist and possesses an admirable musical sensibility. The songs remade by Duong Cam are all challenging tasks for the singers. Music director Duong Cam also praised the two guest singers, especially Huong Tram, for her completely new role in writing her own song.
