On the evening of April 28th, at the Ocean Park beach in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province, the Ha Long Carnival 2024 officially opened with the theme "Shining Bright with Wonders". The opening ceremony featured a series of impressive and colorful activities, promising memorable experiences for attendees.
The highlight and most captivating feature of the Ha Long Carnival 2024 is the drone light show in the sky over Ha Long. Thousands of drones are used to create unique light effects, combining to produce vivid images of the people and landmarks of Quang Ninh.

In this performance, the audience will be able to admire impressive images of Van Don International Airport, Sa Vi Cape in Mong Cai, Dong Pagoda in Yen Tu, along with famous landmarks such as the Fighting Cock Islet in Ha Long Bay. This is not only a beautiful light show but also an opportunity to celebrate the achievements in economic, cultural, and social development of Quang Ninh province.
The Ha Long Carnival 2024 program consists of 5 acts: The Legend of Ha Long; Fishing Village; Trading Port; Ha Long Carnival Heritage Dance; and Shining Bright with Wonders.
The program's script is developed and inspired by six core values in Quang Ninh province's value system, focusing on the value of its beautiful natural landscape, unique culture, and developed economy.

This is one of the most unique tourism products, the most impressive street festival every summer that Quang Ninh has maintained and developed for many years, leaving deep impressions and memories in the hearts of every visitor who immerses themselves in the festival atmosphere.
Simultaneously, through the program aimed at building Ha Long into a city of heritage, a city of flowers and festivals, celebrating the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - 2024), and looking forward to the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site.
