Camden is an inner city district in the northwest of historic London and is one of 35 major centres recorded in the London Plan. 24 hours is not enough to experience all the wonders of Camden, but a reasonable itinerary can help you more or less in your journey to explore this place.
10am: Start your day with a healthy snack
After exiting Camden Town Tube station, take a walk along bustling Camden High Street to feel Camden's free-spirited "rebellious" spirit. It's reflected in the colorful walls of the shops, the buzzing sounds of tattoo parlours, and the impressive performances of street performers. Don't head to Camden Market for shopping, but fuel up first. Stop by Mildreds on Jamestown Road for a healthy breakfast with delicious vegetarian options.

11:30 AM: Enjoy shopping at Camden Market
After refueling, you can leisurely explore Camden Market. This is a maze of shops and stalls scattered along Regent's Canal, under the railway arches and even inside old stables. You can buy everything here, from fashion items to antiques and handmade gifts. Especially if you are a fan of electronic music, don't miss the three-storey neon-lit Cyberdog store, where you can not only buy yourself many unique outfits but also watch artists perform live.
Camden Market is always bustling with shoppers.
2pm: Enjoy world-class street food
If you’re feeling tired and hungry after a few rounds of walking, don’t worry, as the street food paradise in the West of Camden Market will make you forget all your tiredness with international quality dishes such as Oli Baba’s famous Halloumi fries, and Chin Chin Labs’ unique liquid nitrogen ice cream. On sunny days, grab a seat along Regent’s Canal to enjoy these delicious dishes while watching the bustling people go by.

3pm: stroll on Regent's Canal
After shopping and eating, take a short walk to Camden Lock and hop on a London Waterbus to enjoy the scenic views of Regent's Canal. Hourly buses take you past pretty houses, past London Zoo – with discounted zoo entry – before stopping at Little Venice, a peaceful canal area. A return journey from Camden Lock to Little Venice takes just under two hours.

5pm: Sip beers at the legendary bar
This is also the time of day when many of Camden’s bars start to fill up, especially on weekends. Beer gardens are also a great option in the summer, such as the rooftop garden Fest Camden in Stables Market. For a more casual drink, visit the legendary bar The Hawley Arms, a favourite of Amy Winehouse.

8pm: Enjoy live music
Live music is the perfect way to end a day in Camden. The area has long been the city's live music capital, with artists like The Clash, Jimi Hendrix, and of course Amy Winehouse all performing here. You'll have a sleepless night in Camden as you immerse yourself in soulful jazz at Jazz Café, enjoy epic shows at the Roundhouse, or let loose at KOKO.
