KIDS RUN - The 4th annual Children's Running Race took place on April 10, 2021, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Culture & Sports, with the participation of 29 relevant departments and agencies. The finish line and starting point were located in Empire City urban area, Thu Duc City (formerly District 2), Ho Chi Minh City. As an indispensable activity in the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon seasons, KIDS RUN aims to foster an active lifestyle and sporting spirit in the future generation of the country.
KIDS RUN is a playground for children aged 5-14 to conquer distances of 1.5 km and 3 km, helping them improve their physical and mental fitness.
Through physical education and sports, the Organizing Committee believes that children can build self-confidence, which will positively impact many aspects of their future lives.
The race is part of the 4th annual Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, attracting over 13,000 participants from across the country. The official race distances include marathon (42.195 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, and 5 km. This is also one of the largest sporting events in the world since the pandemic began.
