KIDS RUN - The 4th Children's Run took place on April 10, 2021, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in coordination with the Department of Culture & Sports with the support of 29 relevant departments and agencies, with the finish line and start at Empire City urban area, Thu Duc City (old District 2), Ho Chi Minh City. As an indispensable activity in the seasons of the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, KIDS RUN has the mission of being a nursery for an active lifestyle and sportsmanship for the future generation of the country.
KIDS RUN, a playground for children from 5 to 14 years old to conquer distances of 1.5 km and 3 km, thereby helping children improve their awareness of physical and mental development.
Through physical education and sports, the Organizing Committee believes that children can build self-confidence, and that will have a positive impact on many aspects of their future lives.
The race is part of the 4th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon event week with more than 13,000 athletes participating from all over the country. The official competition distances include marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, 5 km. This is also one of the biggest sporting events in the world since the pandemic broke out until now.
