VNA resumes some international flights

From April 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021, VNA will expand its regular operation plan to 04 international routes including Hanoi - Narita (Tokyo, Japan), Hanoi - Incheon (Seoul, Korea), Hanoi - Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City - Sydney (Australia).

With the goal of gradually restoring the international flight network safely, meeting the travel needs of passengers and contributing to the redevelopment of the economy and tourism, from April 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021, VNA will expand its regular operation plan to 04 international routes including Hanoi - Narita (Tokyo, Japan), Hanoi - Incheon (Seoul, Korea), Hanoi - Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City - Sydney (Australia).

Specifically, the plan to operate international flights is as follows:

  • Flights from Hanoi to Seoul depart every Thursday.
  • Flights from Hanoi to Tokyo will depart on April 3, 8, 11, 16, 23, 27, and 29, 2021. In May and June 2021, there will be 2 flights per week on Thursdays and Saturdays.
  • Flights from Hanoi to Sydney depart every Saturday
  • Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Currently, according to the entry regulations of the countries, flights from Vietnam only serve the needs of Vietnamese people studying, working, visiting relatives abroad, foreigners returning from Vietnam and comply with the entry regulations of the countries. Passengers need to proactively refer to the entry regulations officially announced by the Embassies of the countries to ensure the necessary documents and procedures. Vietnam Airlines will not be responsible in case passengers are denied entry.

Regarding the transport of passengers from abroad, according to the current entry regulations of the Vietnamese Government, VNA will continue to transport passengers according to the allocation of the authorities in the form of repatriation flights and flights carrying experts.

In addition, VNA also plans to operate charter flights from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan (China). The implementation of these flights depends on the licensing of the authorities.
