La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc receives the "Best Luxury Boutique Spa Resort Worldwide" award.

The Hotel of the Year Awards is a prestigious awards ceremony that honors luxury hotels and resorts with outstanding, world-class service. This award is specifically for the travel industry, with extremely rigorous evaluation criteria based on secret stays to obtain the most objective assessment of facilities and service at hotels and resorts worldwide.

In addition to winning the prestigious "Best Luxury Boutique Spa Resort Worldwide" award, La Veranda Resort was also named 18th in the Top 100 Resorts Worldwide 2018 at the awards ceremony.

The Hotel of the Year Awards have a team of experts who conduct a preliminary assessment of hundreds of hotels and resorts annually. Each potential candidate is then evaluated more thoroughly based on extremely rigorous standards regarding service, facilities, customer experience, and reviews both in-person and on social media.

Officially opened in 2006, this luxurious resort with 70 rooms, a member of Sofitel's MGallery group of hotels, La Veranda was the first upscale resort to open in Phu Quoc. With this Hotel of the Year award, La Veranda has added three more awards to its 2018 tally.
