La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc received the award "Best Luxury Boutique Spa Resort Worldwide"

Hotel of the Year Awards is a global award ceremony to honor luxury hotels & resorts with excellent service, reaching international standards. This is an award exclusively for the travel service industry with extremely strict evaluation criteria through secret stays to have the most objective assessment of facilities as well as care services at hotels & resorts around the world.

In addition to winning the prestigious "Best Luxury Boutique Spa Resort Worldwide" category, La Veranda Resort was also named 18th in the Top 100 Resorts Worldwide 2018 at the awards ceremony.

The Hotel of the Year Awards involve a team of experts who pre-screen hundreds of hotels and resorts each year. Each potential nominee is then further evaluated against extremely strict standards of service, facilities, experience and customer reviews both in person and online.

Officially opened in 2006, this 70-room luxury resort is a member of the MGallery group of hotels by Sofitel, La Veranda is the first luxury resort to open in Phu Quoc. Last year, La Veranda was honored in the "Oscars of the travel industry" - World Luxury Hotel Awards - in the category of Asia's Luxury Romantic Beach Resort. With this Hotel of the Year Award, La Veranda has added 03 awards for 2018. Earlier this year, the resort also won 02 TripAdvisor awards: 2018 Travellers' Choice and 2018 Certificate of Excellence.
