An airport hotel near Tokyo's Haneda International Airport has installed a state-of-the-art flight simulator inside its hotel rooms, where guests must book in advance to experience 90-minute flights.

This simulator system mimics the experience of flying a Boeing 737-800, departing from Haneda to Osaka's Itami Airport, with an instructor available for assistance if needed. Using the simulator costs 30,000 Yen (approximately 6.5 million VND), and an additional 25,300 Yen (approximately 5.5 million VND) is charged for an overnight stay. Neither users nor guests are permitted to operate the simulator themselves.
Guests can simulate a flight from Haneda to Itami Airport in Osaka.
Aki Hagiwara, the hotel's public relations manager, said the cost of installing the simulator was 10 million yen (over 2.1 billion VND). She also shared that since introducing this unique room to the public, the hotel has received many positive responses from enthusiasts. It is understood that the idea for installing the flight simulator originated from the hotel's general manager.
The cost of installing a simulator in the room is up to 10 million yen.
Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu is trying to differentiate itself from the thousands of other hotels in Tokyo. Manager Hagiwara said the hotel decided to stick to an airport theme to attract aviation enthusiasts and transit passengers, typical customers of hotels near airports.
Of course, this particular hotel still caters to passengers who want a regular resort experience like any other hotel.
