Due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the area, Lam Dong province has canceled festivals scheduled to take place at the end of 2021, including the "Langbiang Pink Grass Festival" scheduled to be held at the end of November and the "Da Lat Flower Festival 2021" (9th time) at the end of December.
According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, although the "Da Lat Flower Festival" will not be organized, the province will replace it with programs and events suitable to the epidemic situation to serve the entertainment needs of local people and tourists on the occasion of welcoming the new year 2022.
The province will transfer funding for the organization of the "Da Lat Flower Festival 2021" to the Fund for Supporting Students in Difficulty to implement the program "Waves and Computers for Children" locally.

Previously, according to plan, "Da Lat Flower Festival 2021" will take place at the end of December with dozens of cultural and artistic programs and activities throughout.
To prepare for this important flower festival, Lam Dong is beautifying the urban area, installing lighting systems, expanding key intersections and installing traffic lights in Da Lat city... Up to now, the above mentioned projects are gradually being completed.
On November 11, the People's Committee of Lac Duong district announced that this year's "Langbiang Pink Grass Festival" will be canceled due to the complicated developments of the epidemic. Although the festival will not be held, Lac Duong district will still create conditions for domestic and foreign tourists to experience, visit, and take photos in the pink grass hill area, pine forest, and Dan Kia Lake - Suoi Vang.
Tourists can still visit and take photos at the pink grass hill area.
The pink grass festival usually takes place at the end of the year with a series of programs: setting up miniature landscapes imbued with the highland's identity for tourists to take souvenir photos; organizing cultural exchanges, folk games, the K'ho people's saddleless horse race; and a photo contest about the pink grass hills...
