The Hue Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from June 25th to 30th.

Hue is the only city in Vietnam to date that has successfully hosted the hot air balloon festival three times during the Festival events.

The fourth festival will take place from June 25th to June 30th, 2022 at Ham Nghi Square (23rd August Street) inside the Hue Imperial Citadel, under the name "Hue Imperial City Seen from the Sky". At the festival, visitors will not only be able to admire spectacular hot air balloon performances, but also directly participate in a skydiving experience to enjoy panoramic views of the Hue Imperial Citadel.

With this free-flying experience, visitors will take off at dawn, soaring with the hot air balloon along with the wind, and enjoying views of the Hue Citadel, the Perfume River, Ngu Mountain, Tam Giang Lagoon, the countryside, and many other scenic spots throughout the flight.

The festival is expected to feature 10 large hot air balloons with a diameter of 25-28 meters, flying at an altitude of 300-500 meters and capable of carrying two passengers, and 10 mini hot air balloons with a diameter of 6-10 meters, flying at an altitude of 10-20 meters, used for demonstration flights.

From June 25th to 30th, 2022, weather permitting, the "Hue Ancient City Seen from the Sky" Hot Air Balloon Festival will be open to visitors and offer daily experience flights at the following times: Free flights from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM; Tethered flights and demonstration flights: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Visitors can purchase tickets directly at the festival area or via the fan page.Above VietnamThe price is 5 million VND per free flight ticket and 170,000 VND per tethered flight ticket, including insurance and taxes. In addition, visitors can enjoy free sightseeing and a mini hot air balloon performance.

From June 20th to 26th, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Hexa Media, organized the "Visit Hue" destination promotion trip with the message "Hue is more than just heritage," featuring the participation of numerous leading travel bloggers and inspirational figures in Vietnam on a specially designed and elaborate journey.

In addition, the highlight of the festival is the "Night of Lights" music event, taking place on the evening of June 26th at the An Dinh Palace grounds, featuring many popular artists, rappers, and DJs such as Young Uno, Mike Hao, Tilo, and others.
