Malaysia showcases impressive tourism products at the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair 2024.

Continuing its ongoing efforts to promote Malaysia as a favorite tourist destination, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board participated in the International Tourism Exhibition (ITE) Ho Chi Minh City, held from September 5th to 7th, 2024.

ITE Ho Chi Minh City 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Malaysia's unique tourism offerings, connect with potential tourists, and encourage repeat visits to Malaysia. Visitors are invited to explore diverse tourist destinations, rich cultural heritage, and a range of affordable holiday packages.

In addition, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board is strengthening its cooperation with travel agencies and tourism associations in Ho Chi Minh City to develop package tours tailored to the preferences and needs of the Vietnamese market.

This year, the Malaysian pavilion is supported by the Malaysian Homestay Business Association, Kampungstay Holiday Sdn Bhd, Myhistourism Adventure Sdn Bhd, and the Government of Melaka State. Over the three days of the event, Malaysia will focus on showcasing impressive tourism products, exciting destinations, and its global reputation as a safe and family-friendly travel destination.

Visitors will have the opportunity to admire captivating traditional cultural performances by talented artists from Malaysia. The art troupe's trip to Vietnam is supported by Vietjet Air. Vietjet Air is renowned for its extensive flight network, with direct flights connecting Vietnam and Malaysia, strengthening the close ties between the two countries.

Ms. Nor Hayati Zainuddin, Director of the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board in Vietnam, said: “Vietnam is an important source market for Malaysia. Strong promotional initiatives are essential for Malaysia to attract more Vietnamese tourists, especially with new direct flights such as Da Nang to Kuala Lumpur by Malaysia Airlines, and soon Da Lat – Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City – Kota Kinabalu by AirAsia.”
